Jason believes Board decisions should begin with students and teachers, be grounded in facts, and be made openly and responsibly.
Students & Teachers First
Jason believes students and teachers should be at the center of Board decisions. That means focusing resources on the classroom, supporting the people doing the work every day, and asking a simple question when decisions are made: How does this benefit students and the teachers who serve them?
Transparent Communication
Jason believes transparency requires more than simply making information available. It means communicating clearly, answering questions directly, explaining the reasons behind decisions, and making it easier for families, teachers, staff, and taxpayers to understand what their district is doing and why.
Accountable Stewardship
Jason believes responsible stewardship means understanding where taxpayer dollars are going, asking questions before decisions are made, and making sure district resources are directed where they provide the greatest benefit. Fiscal responsibility is not simply about spending less, it is about spending thoughtfully, transparently, and with clear priorities.
